These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Atlas PDF, the desktop application and associated web services operated by Atlas Software ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Atlas PDF you agree to these Terms.
You must provide a valid email address and create an account to use Atlas PDF. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for an extended period after reasonable notice.
Upon successful payment or activation of a free account, Atlas Software grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Atlas PDF on the number of devices permitted by your plan:
You may not sublicense, resell, share, or transfer your license key to another person. Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the application is prohibited.
Paid plans are billed on a monthly or yearly basis as selected at checkout. All prices are in euros and inclusive of any applicable VAT.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal in your dashboard.
Trials. Pro and AI plans include a 14-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial period. You can cancel before the trial ends without being charged.
Early Access is a one-time payment that grants 12 months of Pro and AI access from the date of purchase. It is non-renewable under the same terms after expiry.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
We offer a 14-day refund guarantee for first-time paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied, contact support@getatlaspdf.com within 14 days of your first charge and we will issue a full refund.
Subsequent billing periods, Early Access purchases used beyond 14 days, and renewals are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Under EU consumer law, you have a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of purchase. By immediately accessing and using the service you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal may be forfeited for digital content that has been fully performed.
You agree not to use Atlas PDF to:
AI features (available on AI, Early Access, and Enterprise plans) are powered by third-party AI providers. Results are generated automatically and may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying AI-generated content before relying on it for legal, financial, medical, or other consequential decisions.
AI requests are subject to fair-use limits per plan. Excessive usage may be throttled. We reserve the right to adjust AI limits with reasonable notice.
Atlas PDF, its source code, design, and associated content are the intellectual property of Atlas Software. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
Your documents remain entirely your own. We claim no rights over any content you create or process using Atlas PDF.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, release updates, or modify features with reasonable notice. In the event of a material reduction in functionality, paid subscribers will be notified in advance.
Software updates for the desktop application are delivered through the in-app update mechanism and are included in your active subscription.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atlas Software is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Atlas PDF, including loss of data or business interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the dashboard. Upon termination your license is revoked and you will no longer have access to paid features.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you breach these Terms, without refund for the remaining subscription period.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Atlas PDF after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
