• Account data such as name, email address, encrypted password, and account creation date.
• Subscription and payment status. Card details are processed exclusively by Stripe.
• License and device data, including device name, operating system, and activation date.
• Usage data for plan limits, security logs, and support information you voluntarily provide.
• Document content is processed locally by default. Documents are sent to our servers only when you deliberately use a server feature such as a signature request.

• Performance of our agreement for accounts, licenses, and subscriptions.
• Legitimate interest for security, fraud prevention, and transactional email.
• Legal obligations, including tax record retention.
• Consent for optional communications.

• Managing accounts, licenses, and devices.
• Processing payments and billing through Stripe.
• Sending verification, recovery, and signature emails.
• Preventing abuse, providing support, and meeting legal obligations.

We use Stripe for payments, a European hosting provider, and an email provider for transactional messages. We do not sell personal data.

• Account data while the account remains active.
• Tax records for seven years.
• Security logs generally for twelve months.
• Signature-request documents only as long as needed for the signing workflow and requester access.

The website uses only technically necessary cookies for language, sessions, and security. We do not use advertising cookies.

We use HTTPS, password hashing, short-lived tokens, access controls, and logging. No system is risk-free; report security concerns to privacy@getatlaspdf.com.

We notify users of material changes by email or through an Atlas PDF announcement.
